Message from the Executive Director
Greetings to our friends, family, partners, and donors,
As we face the challenges of evolving policies surrounding homelessness, housing, and support for low-income community members, Turning Point Community Services remains more committed than ever to our mission. The need for our work has never been greater and we continue to stand with our community in these trying times.
We also want to let you know that our work is making a difference. Today, we come to you with inspiring stories that reflect the strength and resilience of the mother-led families we serve, both those currently in our shelter and those who have successfully moved on from our programs. Our commitment does not end when families leave our doors. We continue to walk alongside them through ongoing case management, housing assistance, and access to critical resources that support their long-term stability.
Our dedicated and compassionate team works every day to empower mothers to overcome adversity, develop essential life skills, and create brighter futures for themselves and their children. Our duty is to remain a pillar of hope and support for families working to rebuild their lives.
Thank you for your continued support and for belief in our mission. Together, we are making a lasting impact on everyday people who need us.
Gratefully yours,

Moms on the Move

We are excited to highlight the incredible journeys of the mothers who have participated in our programs. These remarkable women have shown resilience and determination as they navigate their paths toward independence and stability.
The moms photographed here arrived at our shelter seeking support during challenging times. They faced a variety of hurdles, including unsafe living conditions, abuse from family or partners, unaffordable rent increases, and job losses. Our dedicated team helped them organize and plan their next steps, secure employment, and save money while they stayed with us.
We prioritize the mental and physical well-being of both mothers and their children, providing access to behavioral health services and wellness resources. Our life skills workshops, focused on budgeting and job readiness, empowered these women to build a brighter future.
We are proud to showcase photos of our moms as they transitioned from our shelter to their new apartments and safe living conditions. These images capture their joy and accomplishments as they take significant steps toward independence.
Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to witness their inspiring success stories. Join us in celebrating their strength and progress as they work toward a brighter future for themselves and their children!
